Buntingford is a market town and civil parish in the district of East Hertfordshire, within the county of Hertfordshire, England. It lies next to the River Rib and is situated on the historic Roman road, Ermine Street. The town developed mainly as a staging post, and many coaching inns still exist as a reminder of its past.
