Stanfield, Wymondham is situated in the civil parish of Wymondham, a market town in the South Norfolk district of Norfolk, England. The parish lies on the River Tiffey and is located 12 miles (19 km) south‑west of Norwich, just off the A11 road to London. Wymondham is one of Norfolk’s largest parishes, encompassing rural areas to the north and south, and includes the hamlets of Suton, Silfield, Spooner Row and Wattlefield. According to the 2011 census, the parish had a population of 14,405, of whom 13,587 lived in the town itself. The town’s setting offers a blend of market town character and access to surrounding countryside, with the river and main road providing connectivity to larger urban centres.
