Planning history

- Jan 2025Tree WorksTreesIn report
TPO ref N93 G1: Works to 2 Willow trees to the rear of the property in the back garden. Tree 1 on the left (facing away from the property) will require pollarding in Autumn 2025 to a 3m height as per pevious permissions granted. This is for standard maintenance. Tree 2 has been found to be hollow (inspection by George Eley (Arborist) confirmed only 10-20% of the tree to be sound and solid). The tree is completely hollow, is top heavy due to previous growth and is leaning slightly. Large chunks of bark have fallen from the trunk in high winds.. Fungi at ground level indicates that the roots are rotting in the ground. A wasps nest in a large hollow root close to the surface of the ground last summer also indicates that a significant amount of the root structure is dead.
