Bradwell Abbey, also known simply as Bradwell, is a civil parish in Milton Keynes, England. The area is an ancient village and modern district situated approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) north‑west of Central Milton Keynes. It has a historic connection to Bradwell Abbey, a Benedictine priory founded in 1155 and dissolved around 1540. The village was adjacent to the abbey, and the abbey’s immediate environs remained a separate ecclesiastical parish. Today, the parish forms part of the City of Milton Keynes and retains its historical character while being part of a contemporary urban setting.
