Bradwell is a modern district of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England, situated approximately one mile (1.6 km) north‑west of Central Milton Keynes. It is part of the City of Milton Keynes, a borough created in 1974 and named after its main settlement, which had been designated a new town in 1967. The borough is the northernmost district of the South East England Region and borders Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and the remainder of Buckinghamshire. In 2022 it was awarded city status, and it has been administered by Milton Keynes City Council as a unitary authority since 1997. Bradwell’s contemporary character reflects the broader development of Milton Keynes as a planned urban area within Buckinghamshire.
