Chapelton, Inverness, IV2 7DD

Chapelton is a locality in the Inverness postal district IV 2. The River Findhorn runs through the area, and a significant flood storage reservoir of 3.8 million m³ is located to the south of the town. The Findhorn valley contains a wide variety of listed features, and the river itself is one of the longest in Scotland, flowing into the Moray Firth on the north coast. The estuary of the Findhorn is among the largest non-firth estuaries in Scotland, providing a notable natural landmark for the community.
