Bowlhead Green, Godalming, GU8 6FH

Bowlhead Green is situated within the civil parish and market town of Godalming in southwest Surrey, England. Godalming lies about 30 miles (49 km) southwest of central London and is part of the Borough of Waverley. The town sits at the confluence of the Rivers Wey and Ock, and its civil parish covers 3.74 square miles (9.7 km²). The area includes settlements such as Farncombe, Binscombe and Aaron's Hill. Much of the parish lies on the strata of the Lower Greensand Group, and Bargate stone was quarried locally until the Second World War. The locality offers a blend of historic character and modern living within a well-established market town setting.
