Bagber Common, Sturminster Newton, DT10 2HB

Bagber is a small hamlet situated in the county of Dorset, England, approximately two miles (3.2 km) west and northwest of the market town of Sturminster Newton. The settlement is part of the Sturminster Newton civil parish and comprises the areas of Bagber, Lower Bagber and Bagber Common. Within the hamlet lies Chapel Row, a street of around ten houses, six of which sit within 300 metres (980 ft) of the main A357 road. These six dwellings date back to the nineteenth century, and the row’s chapel, located at number 6, reflects the historical character of the community. The surrounding landscape is typical of inland Dorset, with open fields and rural scenery. The proximity to the A357 provides straightforward access to larger towns, while the hamlet’s quiet setting offers a tranquil rural lifestyle.
