The proposals seek to extend the northern barn sympathetically with a glazed canopy to accommodate a sheltered eating space for hot food and drink, whilst internal reconfiguration throughout the barns will accommodate a new shop, kitchen, guest W.C's, and large areas of flexible space. Additional office space will be incorporated to first floor areas whilst large glazed curtain walling will enclose large existing apertures. The extensions will be sympathetic and subservient to the existing barns, using appropriate massing and materials. The proposal seeks to maintain and enhance the existing high-quality visitor accommodation offer at Snugburys Ice Cream as part of the wider tourism provision within the estate.
