Line of small trees/shrubs as detailed in diagram (G1) consisting of mixed species including Laurel, Cherry plumb and Birch which need to be pruned back to boundary whilst maintaining suitable growth points on the trees. They trees are intruding upon the drive space of the property hence the application to prune back from the drive. (T2) is one Catalpa Bignonioides in the rear of the property, which had some form of rope/ wire wrapped low around the base of the stem a couple of years ago by builders. The wire cut through the cambium and has caused decay inside the stem, which is deep enough to cause concern for the owner that it may be compromised. There is another tree of the same species in the other side of the garden which is much healthier and sin't showing signs of crown die back like this one is. The owners are happy to replant in the same area should the tree be removed.
