The hamlet of Fawler is located roughly half a mile (800 m) west of the main village of Kingston Lisle. According to the 2011 Census, the population of the Kingston Lisle parish was 225. The area was historically part of Berkshire until the 1974 local government boundary changes transferred the Vale of White Horse to Oxfordshire.
