Ardington, Wantage, OX12 8PZ

Ardington is a village and civil parish in Oxfordshire, England, situated about 2 miles (3 km) east of Wantage in the Vale of White Horse. Historically part of Berkshire until the 1974 boundary changes, it joined Oxfordshire thereafter. Since 2000, Ardington has shared a grouped parish council with the neighbouring parish of Lockinge. The 2011 census recorded a population of 288 residents in the parish. The village’s setting in the Vale of White Horse places it within a rural area of the South East of England, characterised by open countryside and agricultural land.
