Brockdish is a village and civil parish in the south of Norfolk, England. It lies 18 miles (29 km) south of Norwich and 3.3 miles (5.3 km) south‑west of Harleston, placing it within a short drive of larger market towns while retaining a rural feel. The parish boundary is marked by the River Waveney to the south, which forms the county border with Suffolk; Brockdish sits at the highest point where the river is still navigable by small watercraft. Within the parish limits is the settlement of Thorpe Abbotts, adding to the local community fabric.
