Yarpole is a village and former civil parish, now part of the parish of Croft and Yarpole in Herefordshire, England. It lies approximately 4.5 miles (7 km) north‑west of Leominster and about 7 kilometres (4 mi) south‑west of Ludlow, near the county boundary with Shropshire. Nearby settlements include the hamlet of Bicton to the south, Bircher to the north‑east and Croft to the west. In 1961 the parish had a population of 394. The parish was abolished on 1 April 1987 and merged with Croft to form the new civil parish of Croft and Yarpole. The village’s rural setting and proximity to larger market towns provide a tranquil living environment while still offering access to regional amenities.
