The lombary Poplar Tree at my property is now too tall and when its windy it moves alot almost to extent that it would fall now. I proposed to cut the tree and hence i filled the TPO application form. The TPO number is 465. I note the contents of your mail where you suggest trimming it if we wish or leave it tall as it doesnt pose any risk. Please advise who would be responsible for damage in the event the tree would fall over neighbours property. A tree surgeon has recommended only to trimit unless the council agrees. So please advise if it would be ok to cut it off or do we trim it. Please also advice if the council would pay the costs involved as i cannot afford it as an old age pensioner. I have also attached an email that my next door neighbour sent to Harrow Council complaining about the tree being too dangerous. I'm hoping to hear from you soon. Govind Patel.
