T1 a semi-mature common ash tree, (category U) the tree is located at the what 3 words location: pots.bump.faded. The tree is of significance as it is growing with its entire canopy overhanging the neighboring property Yew tree cottage and through visual assessment of the canopy i believe it to be infected with Hymenoscyphus fraxineus (ash die back). The tree appears to have lost approximately 50% of its leaf area spread evenly throughout the canopy. It is of my recommendation that this tree should be removed before further decline continues to negatively impact the timber characteristics of the tree, increasing the risk factor that failure of a large branch or the tree in its entirety poses to the home below. T2 an early established Araucaria araucana /monkey puzzle (category U) tree which is in an advanced state of decline. Loss of lower branches with the remaining upper canopy having browned dysfunctional leaves. This tree should be felled and replaced with a more suitable species. T3 a multi stemmed semi mature cherry tree (category U) that is located at what 3 words position: other.boil.safe. This tree is in a state of heavy decline and has multiple areas of damaged/missing bark to its main stems. The upper canopy of the tree overhangs the carriageway of Bent lane and has very little living leaf area remaining. It is my belief recommendation to fell this tree but due to the location of the mature established birch trees along this boundary replanting should be done in a more suitable location within the garden.
