Adderbury is a winding linear village and rural civil parish situated roughly 3 mi (5 km) south of Banbury in northern Oxfordshire. The parish is divided into five distinct areas. The new Milton Road housing development and West Adderbury lie towards the southwest, while East Adderbury occupies the centre, featuring a village green and a manor house. Further east, a new housing development on Aynho Road extends the built‑up area. The northeastern part of the parish is known as Twyford, named after a small outlying settlement beside a forked section of the River Cherwell. A motorway passes close to the northeast of Adderbury, near Twyford wharf, providing convenient access. The eastern part of the parish also hosts Banbury Business Park and Banbury Golf Course, offering employment and leisure opportunities for residents.
