Llantilio Crossenny, Abergavenny, NP7 8TG

Llantilio Crossenny is a small village and much larger former community, abolished in 2022, now in the community of Whitecastle, in Monmouthshire, south east Wales, in the United Kingdom. Part of the old community is now part of Skenfrith community. It is situated between the two towns of Abergavenny and Monmouth on the B4233 road. The community included Penrhos, and Llanvihangel-Ystern-Llewern. The village’s setting on the B4233 provides a direct link to nearby towns while maintaining a quiet, rural character. Residents benefit from being within reach of the larger market towns of Abergavenny and Monmouth, yet the locality retains its village atmosphere and historic roots within Monmouthshire. The area is part of the broader south east Wales region, known for its scenic countryside and traditional Welsh community life.
