Tredilion, Abergavenny, NP7 8BB

Tredilion is a locality in the NP 7 postal district of Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Wales. The River Gavenny, a short river in south Wales, rises near Llanvihangel Crucorney and flows south for about 4 miles to its confluence with the River Usk at Abergavenny. The river passes through woodland areas such as Blaen‑Gavenny Wood and Great Triley Wood, and near its banks stands the Gothic Decorated style church of St Teilo at Llantilio Pertholey, notable for its 13th‑century origins. The area also includes Blaengavenny Farm, a sixteenth‑century farmhouse near the river’s source. The settlement derives its name from its proximity to the river and is part of the historic town of Abergavenny.
