West Haddon is a village in West Northamptonshire, England. It lies about 11 miles (18 km) north‑west of Northampton and 7 miles (11 km) east of Rugby, just off the A428 road which bypasses the village. The civil parish had a population of 1,718 at the 2011 Census. The village is situated near the junction of the A428 and the M1 motorway, with the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal built in 1996 close to junction 18 of the M1, about 3 miles (4.8 km) west of the village. The bypass of the A428 removed through‑traffic from West Haddon and its neighbour Crick, creating a quieter rural setting while keeping good road links to larger towns. Residents benefit from the proximity to major transport routes and the nearby town of Northampton for services and employment opportunities.
