It lies within the West Northamptonshire district and is now part of the parish of Boddington. In 1931 the parish had a population of 198. On 1 April 1935 the parish was abolished and merged with Lower Boddington to form "Boddington". The locality is identified by the postal district NN 11. The village’s history as a former civil parish and its integration into the larger parish of Boddington reflect its modest size and rural character within the broader Northamptonshire area.
