Great Gonerby, Grantham, NG31 8PE

Great Gonerby is a village and civil parish in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. According to the 2011 census the civil parish had a population of 2,200 residents. The settlement lies less than one mile (1.6 km) north of the market town of Grantham and is bounded to the north by Gonerby Moor, which is part of the same parish. The A1 trunk road runs to the north of the village, providing a direct route to London and the east coast. The village sits at an elevation of 330 feet (101 m) above sea level, giving it a gentle rise over the surrounding landscape. From its position it overlooks the Vale of Belvoir to the west and the town of Grantham to the south, offering a mix of rural scenery and easy access to a larger service centre.
