Evanton, Dingwall, IV16 9XX

Evanton (Scottish Gaelic: Baile Eòghainn or Am Baile Ùr) is a small village in Easter Ross, in the Highland council area of Scotland. It lies between the River Sgitheach and the Allt Graad, 24 kilometres north of Inverness, some 6.5 kilometres (4 mi) southwest of Alness, and ten kilometres (6 mi) northeast of Dingwall. The locality is part of the IV 16 postal district, placing it within the broader Highland region.
