Blacktoft, Goole, DN14 7YP

Blacktoft is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The settlement lies on the north bank of the River Ouse, approximately one mile (1.6 km) west of the point where the Ouse joins the River Trent and becomes the Humber. It is situated roughly six miles (10 km) east of Howden and about twenty‑three miles (37 km) south‑east of the county town of York. The locality falls within the DN 14 postal district and is part of the parliamentary constituency of Goole and Pocklington. As a civil parish, Blacktoft is governed at the local level and is characterised by its rural setting near two significant rivers that form the Humber estuary.
