Osea Island, Maldon, CM9 8UH

Osea Island, formerly known as Osey, is an inhabited island situated in the estuary of the River Blackwater in Essex, East England. The island covers approximately 380 acres and is connected to the north bank of the river by a causeway that is covered at high water. Its population is included in the civil parish of Heybridge, a large village and civil parish in the Maldon district of Essex. Heybridge lies adjacent to the town of Maldon and is near the River Blackwater.
