Stewartstown is a village in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, situated near the western shore of Lough Neagh. It is about 5 miles (8 km) from Cookstown, 3 mi (5 km) from Coalisland and 7 mi (11 km) from Dungannon, placing it within easy reach of larger market towns while retaining a distinct village character. The settlement was founded by Scottish Planters in the early 17th century, and its population peaked before the Great Famine of the 1840s at over 1,000 residents.
