Lower Down, Lydbury North, SY7 8BD

Lower Down is part of the civil parish of Lydbury North in Shropshire, England. The parish contains 57 listed buildings recorded in the National Heritage List for England, including one Grade I, three Grade II* and the remainder Grade II. Most of these listed structures are houses, cottages, farmhouses and farm buildings, many of which are timber‑framed or have timber frame cores, and some contain cruck trusses. Other listed buildings in the parish include a church, a tomb in the churchyard, country houses and associated structures, a public house, a former railway station and stationmaster’s house, a water mill, and seven milestones. The parish also includes the villages of Lydbury North and Brockton, and smaller settlements such as Plowden, but is otherwise rural.
