Shalbourne, Marlborough, SN8 3QQ

Shalbourne is a village and civil parish in the English county of Wiltshire, about 3 miles (4.8 km) southwest of Hungerford, Berkshire. The parish contains a number of widely spaced small settlements, including Bagshot and Stype to the north, and Rivar and Oxenwood to the south. Prior to 1895, roughly half of the parish of Shalbourne lay in Berkshire. The locality is characterised by its rural character and dispersed settlement pattern, typical of the surrounding Wiltshire countryside.
