Millerhill, Dalkeith, EH22 1GN

Millerhill is a village in Midlothian, Scotland, within the EH 22 postal district. The village was served by Cairney railway station, which operated from 1844 to 1849 on the Edinburgh and Dalkeith Railway. The railway itself was an early line built to convey coal from pits in the vicinity of Dalkeith into the capital. It was a horse‑operated line, with a terminus at St Leonards on the south side of Arthur's Seat. The station opened in March of its opening year.
