The parish is home to Aske Hall, a Georgian country house surrounded by parkland attributed to Capability Brown. The estate includes a collection of 18th‑century furniture, paintings and porcelain, and features a John Carr stable block converted into a chapel in Victorian times, an Italianate‑decorated chapel, a Gothic‑style folly built by Daniel Garrett circa 1745, a coach house with carriage, Victorian stable block, walled garden, terraced garden and a lake with a Roman‑style temple. The hall and estate are currently owned by the Marquess of Zetland. The setting offers a tranquil rural environment with historic architecture and landscaped gardens within a short distance of the market town of Richmond.
