Brympton is a village, civil parish and electoral ward in Somerset, England, situated on the north‑west edge of Yeovil. The parish is noted for the Brympton d’Evercy manor house, a Grade I listed building that has been described as the most beautiful of its kind in England. In 1927, architectural authority Christopher Hussey praised it as “the one which created the greatest impression and summarises so exquisitely English country life qualities.” The house has belonged to six families since its construction, including the D’Evercys, Stourtons, Sydenhams, Fanes, Weeks (1992–2008), and Glossops.
